Entrance Channel Island Habitat and Biodiversity Improvements

Protection, conservation and rehabilitation of important catchment and foreshore habitats is part of the ongoing management program for Tuggerah Lakes. This activity integrates multiple priority programs identified in the EMP. This project focused on habitat and biodiversity improvements at an un-named Crown owned island in the entrance channel. The works included stabilisation of erosion points, control of noxious and environmental weeds and planting of saltmarsh to improve island biodiversity.
