Elfin Hill Road reserve was identified as the highest priority site for foreshore stabilisation/rehabilitation due to significant active erosion with the potential to impact on a sewer rising main which runs along the reserve. The site was selected for funding via the Stronger Communities Program with construction completed in 2019.
The work has significantly improved the amenity of the reserve, access to the water and intertidal habitat.
