Captain Cook Reserve at Green Point was identified as a high priority site for foreshore stabilisation works as a result of high public use of the site and the existence of active erosion. This site is significant from an Australian-European heritage perspective as it was the northern most point reached by Governor Arthur Phillip on his journey into Brisbane Water in early 1788.
This project will address the erosion occurring on the site, improve access to the water and improve intertidal habitats along the foreshore.
